  I used to volunteer in the children's ministery & it is excellent for children (from personal experience from when I grew-up as a baby through high-school & from what I witnessed as an adult from volunteering for many many years). I personally will put my own children in it someday, because I know it to be a very nurturing & safe environment filled with acceptance & love for all children. The Christian music with the live bands are phenomenal (no matter which multi-site location you attend there is a very talented band). The leadership group is awesome (I can't WAIT for Pastor Joel's messages every Sunday - they help me understand details of passages of scripture that I either didn't catch myself or can now see from a different viewpoint and my love for Jesus has gotten bigger and bigger over the years because of it). I love the renovation that took place to add on to the building, which added-on a café, two more huge rooms for teenagers/highschoolers to worship downstairs in the children's ministery, & another multi-site room for worship (because our church always tries to make room for the more & more people who want to attend which I love!). I also love our Pastor's, which includes Pastor's Joel & Brian @ Chan & Pastor Mark Nelson @ Minnetonka, etc. Our family was one of the original families to start this church in the 1990's, so we know it's foundation is fully rooted in Jesus Christ through it's lovely people, ministery, worship, serving/volunteering, small groups, Bible studies, children's ministery, etc. Which is why we know that Mark Nelson, who also is one of the starters of Westwood, who is the Pastor now in charge of the new Minnetonka multi-site, is the perfect man for the job! He is such a great man and we know he's filled with love and most importantly a love for Jesus. I am so happy he is the one who was able to take-on that huge role! Thank you Jesus for Westwood church, our wonderful Pasters, continue to guide them as they lead our church (which is only done through You) and bring people around the world closer to You, help them to fulfill what it is that You want them to do Lord, and thank You for all that You have done Jesus~ Amen

  Great church to praise the Lord! The live band playing Christian music is amazing. The pastor delivers a great message each week and if we lived in MN this would be our home.

  I am a regular attender at Westwood and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a church home in this area. The messages are bible-based and you can follow along in church or meditate on them later at home. While the church is large by many standards, there are many opportunities to connect at different levels with smaller numbers. These opportunities range from simple bible studies to bringing together people with common hobbies and interests.
  
  It's a multi-denominational Christian church so all backgrounds are welcome. The worship arts programs (music) is simply fantastic, it provides me a real connection during the service. The children's programs are also top notch. I have 3 kids that have participated and I never deal with a "I don't want to go to church today" Sunday morning.
  
  If you are looking for a church that you and your family can look forward to attending every week, give Westwood a try.
